Gymnastics

The kids started gymnastics a few weeks back and they love it.  Their favorite part is getting to run and jump into the foam pit.  That's where Cam is headed below ... don't you love his form?

Ginger's Party

The other day Addie decided to throw a birthday party for her doll Ginger. 

The kids decorated the house with ribbons.

We played pin the tail on the elephant.  You can tell that's an elephant, right?

And what's a party without gifts?

Addie had Cam help Ginger open her presents ...

so she could keep track of the gifts.

What a party!  I think Addie should add event planner to her list of future career goals.

Three?

David did Addie's hair before swim class last Friday.  Addison (and Dave) were very proud of her three ponytails.

Critter Clinic

The kids opened up their own animal/train clinic the other day.  Addison's current list of future professional goals include: veterinarian, nurse, dietitian :), dancer and hair stylist.  I'm not sure what she'll end up doing but I am quite certain she will be the boss within her chosen field!

Too Cute

Sissy

This morning I was talking to Camden about the new gymnastics class he and Addie would be starting next week.  After explaining what gymnastics meant I threw in the fact that he and Addie would be in the same class.  Cam said, "Oh good, I won't have to be scared if sissy is there with me." 

Change

I've never been a big fan of change.  It makes me sad.  I like continuity, I love the good in my life.  Over the years I've become more accepting of change.  Looking back I can see the good that follows change almost always outweighs the not so great.  But as a mom change is rough.  It's hard to let go.  Thankfully, Addie reminds me how sweet change can be.
