This past weekend was Jenn and Tom's wedding. It was beautiful and the kids had a blast. Well, Addison enjoyed all of it except for the "long talking part".
Camden and Reagan testing out the altar.
Addie and Reagan.
The kids spent a good portion of the reception blowing bubbles for Jenn and Tom. Fairly certain they regret giving those out ...
While I was making dinner Addie asked if she could paint her nails. I said sure not realizing Camden was planning on joining in. By the time I stoped to check on them Cam was blue (along with a significant portion of my kitchen tile). That's right, he has his own blue nail polish. It is now kept out of his reach.
The other evening the kids picked limes from the tree out back. Addison brought one to me and asked if we could use it to make "adult" drinks. Um, what sort of "adult" drink I asked? You know, the kind with a slice of lime on the edge. Oh, right. It was ice waters with lime wedges all around. By the time the eveing was over I was the "serving lady" bringing snacks and checking on their table to make sure everything was alright. At least they paid me at the end ... a slight improvement from my daily role as server.
We took the kids to their first MLB game this weekend. They loved it. Camden has been asking to go back every day since. Unfortunately it was the slowest moving game ever. We made it three hours but that only got us to the 6th inning.
The kids started gymnastics a few weeks back and they love it. Their favorite part is getting to run and jump into the foam pit. That's where Cam is headed below ... don't you love his form?
